    Scottish Executive Stakeholder Survey 2005

    The second comprehensive survey of the Executive's stakeholders was commissioned by the Office of the Chief Researcher and undertaken by MORI Scotland between mid-September and mid-October 2005. Almost 1100 stakeholders responded to the survey, which sought to assess satisfaction with their engagement with the Executive and how this has changed in the past year.

    National Union of Students commissioned qualitative research as part of their Year of Change programme. This research explores the views of a wide variety of stakeholders; their feelings about the overarching role and remit of the organisation as well as their beliefs and expectations about how NUS should deliver its services, and how it should be funded. A series of options for change, arising from this report, will be put before the NUS Conference.

    HEFCE's Staff And Stakeholder Surveys

    A MORI survey for HEFCE (the Higher Education Funding Council for England) finds that 82% of its main stakeholders, other than higher education institutions and further education colleges, have a favourable view of the Council. Three-quarters of non-HEI stakeholders (74%) rate HEFCE as above average compared with other higher education bodies, and 64% think their current relationship with HEFCE is better than three years ago.

    Patient Experiences Of The NHS

    The Department of Health today releases the latest MORI research looking at the overall state of the NHS in the eyes of patients and the public, including both MORI's regular tracking of public views of he NHS, and for the first time, the release of our in depth plain English workshops which help improve the way communicators in the NHS get across key health messages to the public by understanding how NHS communications are received and identify practical "jargon-busting" tips for local NHS communications teams.

    Investing In Water Services 2006–2014 - Customer Views On Investment Priorities For Scottish Water

    The Scottish Executive commissioned MORI Scotland to conduct qualitative and quantitative research to investigate customer views on the investment priorities for the Scottish water industry. This research formed a key strand in an extensive process of stakeholder and public consultation on the future of Scotland's water services, complementing two key public consultations Investment Priorities for Water Services 2006-2014 and Paying for Water Services 2006-2010.

    Local Partnerships Tackling Drug Mis-use

    MORI's research for the Audit Commission reviews perceptions of stakeholders regarding the importance of tackling drug use via local partnerships, and the factors which affect the success of such partnerships. The project was conducted with 180 Director-level Drug Action Team (DAT)/Partnership representatives (or equivalent) from a range of Local Authorities, Police Basic Command Units, Primary Care Trusts and Local Health Boards throughout England and Wales.
