The Standards Of Our Roads And Walkways
Ipsos and TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) were commissioned by the Department for Transport (DfT) to examine public expectations of the surfaces of Local Authority roads and footways. Equal Pay Survey
Ipsos's recent poll for The Fawcett Society and UNISON shows that almost six in ten (58%) people believe that men are paid more than women for doing jobs that require a similar level of skill - and this figure rises to almost two-thirds (64%) among women.

Ipsos's October Political Monitor data (fieldwork 18-23 October) shows a 1 point Labour lead amongst those who say they are certain to vote. The Conservatives are on 40% and Labour on 41%, with the Liberal Democrats on 13%.

Aviation Poll
A survey by Ipsos shows that about half the public believe airport capacity should remain at about the same levels as present and a further 19% say it should be reduced, even if this means the cost of flying increases. A similar proportion believe capacity should be increased (18%) even if this means building new runways.
