Ipsos has reached an agreement with GfK to acquire 4 global divisions of GfK Research
Didier Truchot, Ipsos’ Founder, Chairman & CEO, is delighted to announce that Ipsos SA has entered into an agreement with Peter Feld, CEO of GfK SE, to acquire for cash 100% of four global divisions of GfK’s custom research business: Customer Experience, Experience Innovation, Health and Public Affairs, for an enterprise value of €105 million.

Hamburg, 01. Dezember 2017. Vier von zehn Deutschen (43%) sind der Meinung, die Menschen hätten langfristig mehr Vor- als Nachteile durch den Einsatz Künstlicher Intelligenz. Fast ebenso viele (39%) halten nach einer repräsentativen Ipsos-Studie* die Weiterentwicklung intelligenter Maschinen für unumgänglich für die Steigerung des Wohlergehens der Menschheit. Doch nicht nur Verbraucher sehen im täglichen Leben Künstliche Intelligenz als wichtig an.

Paradigm Shift: Developing a communication strategy based on online patient-generated conversations
In order to inform the development of a communications strategy for the launch of a new medication in Germany, a pharmaceutical client elected to use Ipsos’ Social Intelligence offering as its primary research methodology. Social Intelligence explores and analyzes organic consumer conversations online to uncover business insights; in this case it was used to reconstruct patient experiences around a severe dermatological disease and identify opportunities for messaging about therapeutic options and support. Based on the research, the client has launched a patient website with the goal of accelerating the often prolonged process of diagnosis.

Während München in dem Ranking der beliebtesten Städte zum Leben, Besuchen und Arbeiten auf Platz 25 landet, schafft es Berlin sogar auf den 14. Platz. Die Top 3 der beliebtesten Städte im globalen Ranking sind New York, Abu Dhabi und London.
